Pigeons

Tangential thoughts jumble on the threshold

And float away on a stream flowing

From the feet of a pondering pigeon

Strolling in the falling summer snow.

Black ink spills into a river of gibberish in cursive

Direction distracted, and a sudden epiphany

Under freezing cold shower is fleeting

Like feathers wandering in the wind.

Tridents of wonder mushroom across the stark white plain

In entropic patterns; a malady contaminating the canvas.

On this decaying spherical body where existences collide,

I dissolve into a cacophony of conundrums

As a pigeon walks by.

I just saw that photo of a pigeon walking in snow and this happened.
